About Wenatchee Residents Directory

Wenatchee no longer has one printed book naming every resident. Useful records now sit with several custodians: the Assessor links taxpayers to parcels, the Auditor indexes recorded deeds, Elections manages voter records, and local libraries preserve historical directories. This private reference brings those routes together so readers can choose the right public roll, portal, or physical collection for a name, street, or older address.

Why This Site Exists

The end of regular printed directories did not erase Wenatchee's source records. It spread them among the Chelan County Assessor, Auditor, courts, elections offices, libraries, and archives. Each collection answers a different question and has its own limits. We organize the official search links, contact details, known coverage years, and access options in one Wenatchee-focused reference.

What This Reference Contains

  • Pages by angle: the street directory (address-keyed records), the city directory (the historical shelf), and the resident lookup (one-person searches)
  • The rolls and offices: assessor, recorder, elections office, court clerk, vital records, the library's local history collection
  • Walkthroughs: how to trace who lives on a street, how to read a directory entry, how to follow a household across the decades
  • Access rules: what Washington law opens, what stays closed, and how a records request works when something is not online

Limits on Our Role

This privately operated reference is not connected with the City of Wenatchee, Chelan County, Washington agencies, courts, archives, or libraries. Our role has firm limits:

  • We cannot confirm whether a specific person currently lives in Wenatchee
  • We cannot pull, certify, or change any record on your behalf
  • We cannot add anyone to, or remove anyone from, any roll or database
  • We cannot give legal advice about a record or a dispute
  • We cannot promise that every coverage year, link, or office detail here is current at this moment

Only the custodian office can confirm, certify, or correct a record. Nothing found through this site may be used for credit, employment, tenant, or insurance decisions.
